Adrienne’s Room Service

The Great Eastern Hotel welcomes a new employee for the month of June. Performance artist Adrian Howells joins the Room Service team to perform his latest piece.

Over each weekend in June, Adrienne will be on hand for round the clock room service, counselling and company - to guests of the hotel. Non-residents can also enjoy the delights of Adrienne, as a room will be available for lunch, dinner or breakfast bookings (with no charge for the room).

Adrienne will be listed on the Room Service menu. A tick in the appropriate box will indicate service with Adrienne included. Adrienne will deliver your order, serve you where required and spend an hour in your company eating or drinking with you.

Of his performance, Adrian comments: “ I believe in the Art of conversation. I am interested in genuinely engaging with people and having REAL conversations, about REAL things that matter to us and we both want to share! I am as equally happy to offer a ‘tea and sympathy’ approach to our encounter, as I am to offer something that is much more of a discussion and on ANY topic you might choose. Certainly for me, no subject is off-limits, no personal question is taboo and I am totally prepared to be deeply probed.”

The project cements Great Eastern’s commitment to customer experience, by adding value to the GEH memories guests take home.

Hotel residents can order service with Adrienne by completing the Room Service menu card or directly dialing through switchboard.
