'Brussels Sprouts' The vapour of European Parliament by Jasanský & Polák BRUSSELS SPROUTS Recently a group of photographers, perhaps inadvertently, revealed that the European Parliament is often almost completely empty, and the rest is just a Potemkin Village. Lukáš Jasanský and Martin Polák is a pair of sarcastic artists who could easily set up a TV channel to amuse even the most disenchanted and skeptical of intellectuals. It would broadcast in black-and-white, full of technical difficulties, with the two of them at the helm, having the most fun of all.

The end of time.
The death of culture.
FoolishPeople’s open source myth ‘Terra Incognita’ celebrates 2012 and the end of the Mayan Calender early, by holding a mirror to our anti-future, so we can party like it’s the end of our world and the begining of something much better...
Terra Incognita
1. An unknown land; an unexplored region: "a vast and virtually final terra incognita left to terrestrial explorers".
2. A new or unexplored field of knowledge.
FoolishPeople are looking for performance artists, musicians, d.j’s, artists, poets, writers, dancers, actors, burlesque performers, digital artists, filmmakers and organisers to collaborate with us to perform and exhibit at ‘Terra Incognita’ a unique Meta-Event that FoolishPeople is hosting at the 491 Gallery, London in late March.
The end of time.
The death of culture
The journey into the unknown and how it reflects our journey as a species into the next crucial stage of development or demise.
We’re looking for artists who can use FoolishPeople’s open source myth of ‘Terra Incognita’ to cultivate and develop their own art.
To collaborate and perform or for more information, please contact FoolishPeople via art@foolishpeople.org

A photographic exhibition by Maud Larsson
www.horseofbone.com
13th November - 20th December 2006
The Horse Hospital is proud to present a new photographic work by Swedish artist/photographer Maud Larsson. This striking exhibition is the culmination of Larsson's continuing exploration of masculine roles in modern society.
The result is a series of haunting and strangely beautiful character images. Larsson chose a motley troupe of men that have over the years been affiliated with the Horse Hospital - artists, filmmakers, musicians, writers, exotics, vagrants and fellow travellers.
Shot over a year on location at the Horse Hospital, the characters are styled with original vintage clothing kindly loaned by the Contemporary Wardrobe Collection.
The images were lovingly produced on black and white film stock. Larsson then spent several months in her custom built darkroom in Sweden hand developing each of these beautiful prints, using the expressive yet painstakingly slow and hard-to-tame lith printing process.
Week two of rehearsals is over, and I have to say, one of the delights of rehearsing at the 491 Gallery has been becoming acquainted with extremely talented artist Lili Spain, whom I am proud to announce is now collaborating with FP in Cycle V! Using John's script as a base, Lili is designing and developing an installation art piece that comprises the set of 'Home', which is the penultimate Cycle of the 'Dark Nights of the Soul' anthology, taking place on the 18th November at the Horse Hospital.
To view more of Lili's fantastic work, visit: www.flickr.com/photos/lilispain,
or find out more about her on her myspace page!
Vesna Grandes, new cast member in Cycle V is also an extremely talented photographer. Here is some of her work, and we look forward to seeing more of it over the coming weeks!

A photo of two peculiar dragon-shaped objects taken from a plane flying over Tibet’s Himalayas piqued many users’ interest when displayed on a Chinese website. The photographer is an amateur.
On June 22, 2004, the photographer went to Tibet’s Amdo region to attend the Qinghai-to-Xizang Railroad laying ceremony, and then took a plane from Lhasa to fly back inland. When flying over the Himalaya’s, he accidentally caught these two "dragons" in a picture that he took.
He called these two objects "the Tibet dragons."

Future is waiting for us. With hollow skeletons
or downsized ugly creatures with bulgy eyes - it's not important.
Important thing is that there will be a footprint left.
Footprint of civilization. Cement, metal and dust not claimed by anyone.
They are eternity.
FP is going Lo-Fi today. No heavy thinking, no deep and meaninful shit. Just stuff to make you smile. Because if you feel like I feel you need some fun. Lo-Fi FP 1 Norse God getting high.
Deadlines looming and all that stands between me and meeting them is procrastination and a camera.
You can view how I wasted valuable work time this afternoon by viewing the new photo's that I have uploaded to flickr.
