“Cosmic Blast” Stimulating Mystical Experience Washes over Earth?

A most curious report is circulating in the Kremlin today, submitted by Colonel Boris Sokolov of the Ministry of Defense, one of Russia’s top UFO investigators, and wherein he states that ‘embedded’ within last months largest ever recorded Cosmic Blast was a ‘40 megahertz radio wave coded signal’ that could ‘stimulate’ the electromagnetic activity of religiously devout people by ‘substantially altering’ their brain frequencies.
The areas of the brain of devout followers of religion most likely to have ‘received’ this ‘cosmic message’, this report continues, had previously been identified by French Researchers from the University of Montreal, and who stated about their research:

“The main goal of the study was to identify the neural correlates of a mystical experience. Rather than there being one spot that relates to mystical experiences, we’ve found a number of brain regions are involved. This does not diminish the meaning and value of such an experience and neither does it confirm or disconfirm the existence of God,” explained lead researcher of the study Dr Mario Beauregard. ”

Colonel Sokolov continues in his report by stating that this ‘cosmic message’ would be first ‘understood’ by the most devoted followers of religion as their brain frequencies are more attuned to the 40 megahertz radio wave and that these people would be, most likely, found in cults.

Now, and most curiously, following this ‘cosmic message’ blasted at our Earth, both the United States and European Union have launched near simultaneous crackdowns against their respective religious cults…

If true the above has to be one of the most interesting pieces of news I have heard in a long time, for many different reasons. JH

Old Testament figure named on 2600-year-old tablet | NEWS.com.au

Link: Old Testament figure named on 2600-year-old tablet | NEWS.com.au.

THE British Museum yesterday hailed a discovery within a clay tablet in its collection as a breakthrough for biblical archeology - proof of the accuracy of the Old Testament.

The cuneiform inscription in a tablet dating from 595BC has been deciphered for the first time - revealing a reference to an official at the court of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, that proves the historical existence of a figure mentioned in the Book of Jeremiah.

It is rare evidence in a non-biblical source of a real person, other than kings, featured in the Bible.

ABC News: Minister Questions Hell -- and Loses Flock

Link: ABC News: Minister Questions Hell -- and Loses Flock.

"The bitter torment of the idea of an angry, visceral, distant, stoic, harsh, unrelenting, unforgiving, intolerant God is Hell," he said. "It's pagan. It's superstitious. And if you trace its history, it goes way back to where men feared the gods because something happened in life that caused frustration."

"People who believe in devils and demons become that in consciousness and they act it out," he added."

Myth Creation

Myth creation is a funny thing, Its very different from the construction of normal stories or narratives.

Myths must live on when you look away, they must breathe and live and fight for existence. In some ways they must already exist and wait for the right eyes to look upon them and see that they are ready and their time has come.

A group of incredible artists have joined myself and FP to look upon Terra Incognita and see that this Myth is now alive.

Terra Incognita is Open Source and each artists working within its landscape are wiping away the dream like clouds to see how they exist within the various realms of this Myth.

Terra Incognita will exist in solid form from the 31st of March 8pm as a colossal meta event that has broken through to this version of reality.

The construction of the next world has begun.

Goodbye

Yesterday I sat down with David Blank for an interview that will appear in Oracle Occult magazine next year. This allowed me the time to finally place all that has occurred for myself and FoolishPeople during the last year into perspective.

This year has contained so much that it has literally broken time for me. I am no longer able to experience it in the same manner as I once did. Linear is now a dead word.

So tonight is bitter sweet. Through my work with FP I have gained so much. I travel towards 07 with literally a completely new life. Everything has changed. For good and bad.  Tonight I say goodbye to everyone I lost. I also celebrate the start of the next chapter.

Happy New Year.

The Story So Far - My First Encounter with the Spirit Parliament

Dsc05007

If I ever get out of here this will be my first blog entry in over a year, in case I don’t somebody please make sure the following writings find their way into the hands of a contributor to the SPS website so that the truth regarding my absence and the nature of the Spirit Parliament can make it’s way into the public domain. There’s a list of e-mail contacts on the links page on the site, or there was when I last had internet access.

The last time I contributed to this site we were discussing my experience and speculation regarding the disappearance and fate of fellow investigator and contributor, Rupert Banwen. Though I have not located him, or learnt of how or to what degree the Spirit Parliament were responsible for his disappearance my investigations have led me to make discoveries and experience phenomena that shake the foundations of my perceptions of reality.

I have been to Hell and back. This isn’t a trite metaphor; this is very much literally what has happened. I’ve also met the Spirit Parliament and witnessed the Dark Nights of the Soul spirit carnival.

Catholic marchers turn on Glastonbury pagans

In scenes reminiscent of medieval witchhunts, Catholic pilgrims in Glastonbury have attacked pagans and threatened to “cleanse” them from the town.

Local pagans were pelted with salt and branded witches who “would burn in hell” during a procession organised by Youth 2000, a conservative Catholic lay group. The Magick Box, a pagan shop on the route of the march, was also singled out and attacked.

Maya Pinder, the owner of the shop, said: “We’ve had to hear comments such as ‘burn the witches’, we’ve had salt thrown in our faces and at our shop, people were openly saying they were ‘cleansing Glastonbury of paganism’.

Treadwells Events

Christina and Kathy, our friends at Treadwells have a new list of upcoming events. Some really fine stuff coming over the next couple of months.

Exhibition of the Art of Roland Spottiswoode
Ongoing – in the downstairs gallery of the shop
Anglo-Irish oil painter with an interest in literature, occultism, theatre and the unseen worlds. Unusual portraits of Robert Graves (of White Goddess fame) and Yeats (of the Golden Dawn) as well as greats from theatre like Noel Coward, Tennessee Williams. Open daily at Treadwells until 11 September. For more, see our website.

The Japanese Ministry of Magic
29 August (Tuesday) Laura Nakagawa Miller 7.15 for 7.30 pm start £5.00
This illustrated talk introduces and illuminates an unknown chapter in the history of occultism: the demon craze of Japan’s late Heian era (10th and 11th centuries), which was a time of morbid superstition, when aristocrats lived in mortal dread of the supernatural. Laura Miller looks at the unique combination of religious and folk beliefs which produced a fearsome pantheon of demons. She also talks about the extraordinary frenzied campaign against the demonic forces, a campaign that included the formation of a ‘Ministry of Magic’. You meet trickster foxes, the bloodsucking ‘neck lady’, some dangerous pond life, demon muggers and Japan’s most famous sorcerer, Abe no Seimei. In a strange coincidence, the symbol of the pentagram appeared at this time in Japan in connection with Abe no Seimei . Prepare to be astounded, amused, enlightened. Laura Nakagawa Miller holds a degree in Art History from Cambridge University. She lived for several years in rural Japan where she taught and painted, holding her first one woman show last year. She has lectured on various subjects in Japan, studied calligraphy for several years and was associated with a Japanese Zen Temple.

Vs Bigots

Jhayne Holmes on how to deal with evangelical bigotry.

Focus on the Family, the horrid anti-gay evangelical church based in Colorado Springs that wields too much power for anyone's good, has a store on their website that will give you books, CDs, and DVDs absolutely free of charge. Usually people pay for their items by donation, raising millions of dollars to help Focus on the Family produce more hate-propaganda featuring "experts" on homosexuality who claim it's a curable "sickness". (They're practically defined by their book A Parent's Guide to Preventing Homosexuality. Course, there's no mention of having less kids, which is the only proven method. No, no, you shouldn't use birth control, that would be wrong. They need more worshippers, how dare you prevent god's will.)

It's a little bit time-consuming, but not enough to deter me. (Nor should it you). The chance to take money out of their pockets is too useful, not to mention satisfying.

Here's how to do it in 10 steps:

1. Go to www.family.org and look for the "Resources" link in the blue bar on the left-hand side, right above the "Search" box, and click it.

2. Under the "Resource Category" menu on the left-hand side, you'll notice categories such as "Homosexuality" under "Resource Category." Me, I went straight to the CD's and DVD's under "Resource Format."

3. Go through, find something you like, such as the recently released movie, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe or The Chronicles of Narnia Radio Theatre Complete Set, suggested donation US $79.00, or the three disc Les Misérables soundtrack. It's not a very wide range of products, but there's bound to be something either you like or you could use as a sweet gift for someone else. Click the "Add to Cart" button.

They won't send more than $100 worth of materials for free in any given shopping trip, so be sure to go through a few times, until you're sure you've dinged them.

4. Select "Add New Shipping Address," decide to send it yourself or someone else, and once you're done picking up to $100, click "Proceed to Checkout." Some people have been sending items to themselves to sell later on eBay, some have been ordering the more controversial items as conversation pieces or educational props, (as anti-anti-propaganda), but I plan on using mine as gifts, mostly. I've found no reports on receiving Focus on the Family junk mail after inputting an address, so I figure it's fairly safe.

5. The next screen asks you to sign-up for an account and give your information. Fill it out with fictitious information, enter whatever name and address you like. You might want to make up a phone number too and an e-mail account too. After filling out all the required fields, click "Proceed to Checkout" one more time.

6. This will take you to the "Here is Your Cart" page. You may have to re-enter your data again after this part to actually confirm your account. Eventually, you'll get to the "How Much Would You Like to Donate?" page.

7. Select "Enter other total amount" and enter 0.00 as the amount you would like to pay. (Don't put in a dollar sign or it will ask you for credit-card information.) Don't be fooled by the field in the lower-right-hand corner that shows you the suggested donation amounts, simply Proceed to Checkout.

8. The next screen is a guilt screen, to make you feel bad about how little you donated. ignore it. Ignore it utterly. Think of how many people they're persecuted and had in their "gay kids can be cured" camps. Just proceed to checkout again.

9. Click "Checkout Now."

10. Finally, pass this information on to all your friends. They've got money to back them, we have word of mouth, let's see if we can win.

Thanks to Mr Ellis for this one.

Sisters lose second coming cover

Insurers have withdrawn the cover on their virginity taken out by three sisters in the event of the second coming of Christ.

Essex-based Britishinsurance.com confirmed it had provided the £1m policy, but said it was reviewed on Thursday following complaints. The firm said the women from Inverness had renewed the policy since 2000. The cover was meant to pay for the cost of bringing up Christ if one of them has a virgin birth.

Cycle IV Complete

Raddeconkit29999

Cycle IV is complete. Just spent the last forty eight hours bathing in the residue of dirty Magick, enjoying the contamination. Only now just thinking about sloughing off this aura and building a new one.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support FP. To tell you the truth one of the biggest rewards is meeting the incredible people who comprise an audience of a Cycle of Dark Nights. Met some truly incredible people and some old and true friends.

Thanks also to every member of FP, both in front and behind the altar who made Cycle IV such a Magickal success

Dirty Magick is good, almost like a sticky fuck in a seedy alley full of nature pushing itself through the cracks via giant rats and clever foxes.

I'm off to see Fuerzabruta tonight. Full of high expectations.

See you in September for Cycle V.

Full of It

A week full of it, the worlds not yet stopped spinning as we fly towards what we are becoming. Watching words fly off the page into life before you, meeting eyes and bouncing off one another with an honesty that is simply not commonplace enough. You can sense each of us probing about in the dark, feeling the space and each other as we start to become the intentions we've been given.

Jofierts a frustrating joy. I'm failing miserably at the challenge of patience recently, becoming overtaken with the frustration of being handed such strong words and feeling like your not quite filling them just yet. I also get to rage. Its wonderful. Hard to leave in the room but wonderful none the less. I took it right with me back to the tube station on Thursday complete with interview power dressing it was a bizarre feeling, life imitating art imitating life.

And for her to hand over all she is to god?

I became baptized when I was eight because I fancied the vicar, I really am not the best person to try and understand this but try I must. The thought of preaching through peoples eyes when you meet their stare, such certainty in your words that you are blinded to any reflection from them, you are blinkered from any other perspective. It fills you to overflowing. Such power and certainty, birthed from what? Loss. Alone. Lost. But did she ever find herself or did she simply cover her life in the lords answers?

I suppose when one is full of purpose you have power, when our minds are concentrated on a specific goal you’re open to possibilities and you make things happen, the universe gives you that power. And to be so toe top full it must feel immense, utterly certain and magnificent. You would want your life to reflect that, you may go so far as to preach blindly and begin work. Ever met mr are you a sinner or a winner in oxford circus? He went and bought himself a megaphone and now has an asbo. He boiled my blood. That man really fucked me off, I kept trying to see how he could be so god damn presumptuous and when he caught my eye his face looked blind, nothing I could say would sway him, the thought of him letting go or questioning his beliefs would have broken him a second and to throw yourself away like that is cowardly in some sense surely? Or is it respectful? Worthy? Meant? I think faith is a beautiful thing, please don’t get me wrong I just also see the imbalance in a life that forces and invades blindly. We find the answers we seek, leave each to their own.

Those who need it shall find it.

Japan's nerve-gas cult guru nears gallows

The Tokyo High Court on Tuesday rejected a second appeal against the death sentence of a doomsday cult guru convicted over the deadly 1995 nerve-gas attack on the Tokyo subway.

The decision brought Aum Supreme Truth founder Shoko Asahara closer to the gallows, more than 10 years after his sect stunned the nation with crimes based on his apocalyptic visions. His lawyers still have five days to bring the case to the Supreme Court which, however, examines appeals only on constitutional violations.

Judas 'helped Jesus save mankind'

Judas Iscariot's reputation as one of the most notorious villains in history has been thrown into doubt with the translation of an ancient text.

The Gospel of Judas, a papyrus document from the 3rd or 4th Century AD, casts the fallen disciple as a benevolent figure, helping Jesus to save mankind.

The early Christian Church denounced such teachings as heretical. The 31-page fragile document, alleged to be a copy of an even older text, was discovered in Egypt in the 1970s. The National Geographic Society in the US published the first translation of the text from Coptic to English on Thursday, and showed some of the papyrus pages for the first time.

The Roman Catholic shrine at Lourdes may introduce a "miracle lite" category for sudden unexplained recoveries because modern medicine increasingly refuses to declare any disease incurable.

Santa Gonna Cut You

Murdersanta_2

It's usually easy to tell where a person stands in the culture wars, but whose side is someone on when his Christmas decor is a blood-spattered Santa Claus holding a severed head?

Joel Krupnik and Mildred Castellanos decked the front of their Manhattan mansion this year with a scene that includes a knife-wielding 5-foot-tall St. Nick and a tree full of decapitated Barbie dolls. Hidden partly behind a tree, the merry old elf grasps a disembodied doll's head with fake blood streaming from its eye sockets.

No one answered the family's door to explain on Tuesday, but Krupnik told the New York Post it was a statement about the commercialization and secularization of Christmas.

The Grimoire of Pharaon:
Sorcery, Chumbley, Spare, Chaos

Liber Niger Legionis, The Grimoire of Pharaon
£350
First Edition: Octavia Press 2005. Hardback 162pp. Author: Pharaon. This copy is Number 4 of the numbered limited edition of only 36 copies. It is signed and sigilised by the author. In this first edition, sigils to 36 daemons were individually produced.  Copy 4 is dedicated to Samael; this unique sigil is starkly remarkable. The book’s content consists of an original grimoire, though it is evident that inspirations are drawn from Austin Osman Spare, Kenneth Grant and Andrew Chumbley. The grimoire  presents an original system of Gnostic sorcery, which is both practical and cosmological. Eschewing the traditional esoteric cosmology that describes the Supernal or Divine that is in opposition to the Infernal, it  instead it regards the ‘hostile’ or ‘demonic’ forces as being inherently illusory, indeed that which is the illustory itself. The response to this insight is the spiritual aim, what Pharaon calls ‘Black Gnosis’. In it, the sorcerer apprehends mystically the transience of identity. As the infernal (illusory) nature of reality is identified, one is enabled to ford the currents that underlie it, recognising their sentience and power.  In this system, the sorcerer becomes a mirror for that which is beyond.  As the author draws upon the entire magical tradition, the Daemons summoned are traditional ones, ones that  most will recognize. It is their relevance to postmodern reality that is emphasized, however. The author is transgressive, fiercely iconoclastic, and solitary; despite the fact that  Infernal Sorcery is explicitly referred to as Cainite and relates to the work of Andrew Chumbley,  the author is not a member of his Cultus Sabbatai, but instead works independently. The book, after outlining and instructing the system of Gnosis and magical practice, lists the 36 daimons, with their natures, their meaning and relevance to the system and sigil.  The first edition, in which only 36 copies were printed, has become highly sought after even within the first six months after its release. Issue points distinguishing it from the second edition are the upright direction of the cover pentagram, and the particular decoration of the endpapers.
